Trenwyth Pledger (Class of 1995)
I am committed to fostering a strong and supportive community for our school, ensuring that we continue to provide exceptional opportunities for our students. With a deep passion for education and development, I actively engage with parents, staff, and stakeholders to enhance the Woodridge experience.

Beyond my role at the Foundation, I am the owner of Thunzi Bush Lodge, where I have spent over 20 years building a business centered on hospitality and excellence. My dedication to people—whether in education or business—drives my efforts to create meaningful impact.

I look forward to connecting with fellow Woodridge supporters in London and sharing our vision for the future.

Educated at Selborne College and graduated from Rhodes University. Luke,  represented and captained South Africa rowing multiple times.

He taught at St Stithians and fulfilled numerous roles with the last being that of Deputy - Operations and Communications.

Luke has been Woodridge College Head since January 2024 and is making a huge impact. He has succeeded in getting his staff right behind him and is leading the school with purpose. 

Luke is looking forward to engaging with UK alumni and providing insights into life at Woodridge.

Dave was born in Makhanda and attended Graeme College. He is a qualified teacher and taught 8 years.
 

Dave continued a career in HR and Marketing at Delta Motor Corporation.

Dave led EP cricket / warriors for 20 years as CEO . He went on and
consulted  for 6 years , 2 years in Mauritius 🇲🇺 preparing for opening of Mont Choisy Golf course and 3 years in adult education.

Dave has spent the last 6 years as Business Manager/Foundation Exec Director and what a fulfilling experience it has been - incredible institution and one that most certainly lives up to its Vision - more than a school, an experience. Despite not being a true blue Woodridgean, the Woodridge has become me and I have become it - let’s continue with our unique legacy and treat future generations to what their predecessors all enjoyed and cherish to this day.
